Taylor Dodson is a litigation associate in
the firm’s Product Liability and
Class Actions group, where she brings
significant experience managing complex,
high-stakes matters, including
multidistrict litigations (MDLs) and
parallel state actions in mass torts.
Taylor is adept at strategically
structuring MDLs from their inception,
ensuring that each phase of litigation is
aligned with her clients’ business
objectives and long-term interests. She
understands the unique challenges facing
companies whose products are at the center
of litigation, and she is committed to
protecting their innovations and
reputations.
Taylor’s practice spans the full
spectrum of litigation, from initial
investigation and case pool management to
bellwether analysis and selection,
discovery, motions practice, and trial.
She is recognized for her ability to
develop and present complex scientific
evidence, and for her collaborative
approach to case strategy. Taylor is
valued by colleagues and clients alike for

supportive leadership style, and her
ability to navigate the pressures of
high-profile litigation.
Before joining the firm, Taylor served as
a trial attorney at the Public Defender
Service for the District of Columbia,
representing juveniles charged with
serious felonies. Prior to her time in the
public sector, Taylor worked in life
sciences compliance, which she credits
with providing her a nuanced understanding
of the business and regulatory pressures
facing healthcare and bioscience-driven
companies, as well as the importance of
proactive risk management and internal
investigations.
Taylor maintains an active pro bono
practice, particularly in litigation for
the rights of incarcerated youth. She has
been recognized internally for her
commitment to pro bono service and is
dedicated to mentoring the next generation
of legal professionals through her work
with Discovering Justice.
